Description
Up for auction a nice copy of the self titled album The BEATLES, commonly referred to as The White Album with low serial number.
Given the corrected labels I believe this would be considered a 2nd Pressing
Label: Apple Records (Capitol) Catalog # SWBO 101 Year: 1968 Pressed: Los Angeles (LA), USA Side 1 Runout: SWBO-1-101-J40: 1 * Side 2 Runout: SWBO-2-101-J40' 2 * Side 3 Runout: SWBO-3-101-J41' 2 * Side 4 Runout: SWBO-4-101-J41' 1 * Serial #: 0053069
Condition: Cover: "The BEATLES" is raised / embossed, Title, Stereo and Catalog Number on the spine, "Stereo" upper right corner on the back. Cover shows some ring wear, has 2 sections of tape along the bottom of each gatefold, and seam splits along both gatefolds at the top. Please see the pictures for more details
Albums: Both in great shape overall, some slight surface scuffing/scratches present. All 4 sides play through with no skips, some surface noise present but nothing that overpowers the music when playing, an enjoyable listening experience. I sampled these on a Pioneer PL-518 Turntable, with a Audio-Technica VM540ML cartridge
Inserts: Poster intact and in excellent shape, no tears or bent corners. 4 band member photo's in great shape as well with no staining, bent corners...
LP's are in poly lined sleeves, white paper sleeves are present and included
This is offered in as found condition, no returns, please look at the pictures and ask any questions before bidding.
