Description
The Beatles "Yesterday & Today" 2nd Stage unpeeled Butcher Cover. Confirmed!
We were excited to see this come into our store! You are looking at a 2nd Stage Beatles "Yesterday & Today" Butcher Cover that could be in better shape, but would still wow any fan of the Beatles who knows the history of this release!
We have been in business for 17 years, and we have graded thousands of records. If you think you disagree with our grading you need to contact us *BEFORE* you hit the Buy It Now.
We are grading this as follows. Three of the corners have been attempted peel by, most likely, a teenager in the 1960's. We have taken pictures of the corners to show you the damage they created. We took a picture of Ringo's collar to confirm this is a Butcher cover. Back shows some staining from age and mishandling. We are grading this at a G+, which is generous. There is NO splitting on any of the edges, which is the one thing we have run into on EVERY OTHER Butcher Cover we have encountered. The record was play-tested yesterday on a Stanton turntable, which is a decent mid-price point turntable. The record did not skip. It shows minor scuffs and scratches, but overall would grade at a solid VG-. This is likely a conservative grade.
Overall, this is a great copy that is likely headed to a frame for a diehard Beatles fan. We have sold copies on eBay in the past in worse shape than this for slightly less than our Buy It Now price. It's got it's faults, but it's rare and hard to find. Your search is over!
We know that collectors pay attention to details. We have graded these fairly and accurately. Good luck!
We will ship EXTREMELY well protected.
We have 15+ years in grading CDs. We grade on a conservative scale, favoring the buyer. Due to the rarity of the items sold each is cataloged to protect us from switching or fraud. Any attempted fraud will be reported to eBay.
Please ask any and all questions before you bid.
Shipping is $4 in the U.S. with Media Mail. Shipping is $25 international. We ship items quickly.
We have little feedback, but we are not new to eBay. We operated under the name "armadillomusic" for almost 4 years, and we had acquired over 2000+ positive feedback before that portion of our business closed. We may be starting over, but our commitment to customer service is the same as it has always been.
We leave positive feedback for all parties that leave it for us first. If you have a problem with your purchase, or a question about any of our items, please email us before going through eBay channels to let us know your thoughts. Thank you, and we appreciate your business!
