Description

The Beatles Vs The Four Seasons Original MONO US 1964 Gatefold on VEE JAY DX 30

No Poster, Jacket is VG+ or better. Vinyl is VG+

Not everybody agrees about how to grade LP's so PLEASE look at the pics closely, they are detailed and accurate. Jacket looks better than I can grade it because somebody filled out the contest on the back, which is cute I guess and it's nice that The Beatles won but it definitely downgrades the jacket condition!! No ring wear, clean and crisp laminates, bright colors and very little signs of handling. ALL issues are clearly visible in the photographs. Two bumped corners and two spots of edge wear and writing on the back a a small seam split on the INSIDE of the gatefold but otherwise it's surprisingly clean and shows well. Vinyl is a solid VG+, played a few times, not abused and sounds good with faint surface noise between songs that is inaudible during the music. only a couple spindle marks at most. One original Vee Jay paper sleeve and one plain white sleeve. They had excellent pressing and vinyl quality back in 1964 and these discs prove it.

I grade as accurately as possible based on the standard Goldmine Grading Scale, landing on the conservative side when in doubt.
