At the time of this writing, the Seller had additional titles by this artist for sale on Ebay.  The Seller is the Original Owner and received this LP as a promotional copy from the label at the time of its release. 

The discs were visually inspected and appear to be in NEAR MINT condition, shiny with no imperfections or signs of use observed. The three records and booklet are housed in an outer sleeve cover that is in VG+ condition, with some discoloration and minimal shelf wear. It is a textured cardstock sleeve with an embossed black and gold title emblem centered on the front. It also has a gold promo stamp and a hype sticker on the front.  The rear cover lists the band members and guest musicians.  There are three original inner sleeves made with a similar textured paper, which have no seam splits.  The original 12-page booklet is included, which features color concert photos, song and musician listings, and credits. Please zoom in on the provided photos to see the overall condition of this item.

(Wikipedia Excerpts)  The Last Waltz was a concert by the Canadian-American rock group The Band, held on American Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1976, at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. The Last Waltz was advertised as The Band's "farewell concert appearance."

The Band was joined by more than a dozen special guests, including their previous employers Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan, as well as Paul Butterfield, Bobby Charles, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood, and Neil Young. The concert was produced and managed by Bill Graham and was filmed by director Martin Scorsese, who made it into a documentary of the same title, released in 1978.

The original soundtrack album was a three-LP album released on April 16, 1978 (later as a two-disc CD). It has many songs not in the film, including "Down South in New Orleans" with Bobby Charles and Dr. John on guitar, "Tura Lura Lural (That's an Irish Lullaby)" by Van Morrison, "Life is a Carnival" by the Band, and "I Don't Believe You (She Acts Like We Never Have Met)" by Bob Dylan.

The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years!  Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week.

Grading methodology is as follows:

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

 VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.

Seller ships domestically within the United States via United States Post Office Media Mail with tracking. This is the most economical option. Seller will insure packages valued above $30. Insurance does not cover missing packages after they have been delivered to the buyer's address, only damage or loss during shipping. Warping could occur if vinyl records are exposed to heat and direct sunlight, so please make adequate arrangements to safely receive your packages.  If Buyer prefers a faster shipping service, please contact the Seller before completing the transaction to discuss options such as Priority Mail. Per USPS, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 1-3 days.
