You are  bidding on a 12” vinyl LP of The Band, The Last Waltz. Possibly one of the greatest live concerts of all time featuring some heavy weight guest appearances from guests such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Dr John, Neil Diamond, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Hawkins, Joni Mitchell, Paul Butterfield, Bobby Charles, Ringo Starr & Ronnie Wood as well as some stunning tracks by The Band themselves. Five sides of "live" vinyl and side 6 is studio stuff with yet more guests Emmylous Harris and The Staples. This is a triple album and does include the original insert booklet.

Please  read the condition of the item carefully below  before bidding. Unlike many people selling vinyl on eBay I play every track of every album before listing it. It’s very time consuming, but means I can give an accurate description and an honest opinion of condition.

I am not a  record dealer and I am not an expert at  grading records. I will give as much information as possible to assist in  identifying particular albums.

For the vinyl collectors looking in,  the following information is available:

Stereo.

Condition: VGC

Record: Both labels clean. Vinyl has some light finger marking. Across the six sides there is various light scratching, scuffs etc but I have played all 6 sides. There are no jumps , skips, or sticking points. Overall the sound is very clear. There are four areas that I feel I should mention. There is some clicking (not particularly loud) - (1) during the introduction of Ronnie Hawkins, (2) during the introduction of Neil Young. However the clicks stop when the tracks start. (3) The only clicking I heard during a track was on side 6 in the track Evangeline. And finally (4) I heard some surface noise on the play in area at the start of side 2, just before the opening Dr John track. Apart from those points it plays really well with a good clean sound.

Cover: Single sleeve. It has a wide opening and spine obviously to accommodate 3 albums and a booklet. It is all intact. No tears or splits. No unwanted writing. The spine is still wide and the spine text clear and readable. Being a creamy colour it does have a few grubby handling/finger marks (it is 35 years old!). The corners show minimal wear. Top and bottom edges show hardly any sign of wear. The front design and "The Band" logo is in black and gold leaf effect, and very good with no damage. 

Inner sleeve: All three inner sleeves are plain cream on both sides. Some crease marks. Minor wear to seams, but all intact. 

Extras: 6 Page (12 sides) booklet (almost same size and dimensions of cover) with concert/album information and colour photographs from the concert. 

Compared with how others grade LP’s on eBay I would  say this is VGC. Without the little bit of surface noise on side 2, and the three areas of clicking described above it would be graded as excellent.

This isn’t a “mint” album obviously , but it is still a respectable looking and playing album.

I  would rather be honest from the outset, than  end up with a  disappointed winning  bidder. I buy  things on eBay as well and would expect the  same honesty from others.

I  understand   “standard”  first class mail is  insured for  items  up to a value of £20.00. If   my  starting bid is over £20.00 I  will include a postage price that will cover  for  "Signed  For" postage (this  insures for up  to £50) and if the starting bid  or final  bid is over £50 I will  send  via Special Delivery which I believe  insures for  up to £500.00. 

All albums  are dispatched in sturdy cardboard mailers  with additional stiffeners, to  ensure  safe arrival. The cost of this packaging is  included in the postage price.
