Description
This is the original pressing of the album "Mantle Piece" by The Battered Ornaments on the Harvest label, catalogue number SHVL 758. The labels are clean and free from any writing stickers or other defamatory marks. Only a few light spindle marks are visible EX++. The vinyl on both sides retains a mirror like shine and has NO SCRATCHES, NO SCUFFS and only a few light sleeve removal lines at least EX++, some would say MINT. Matrix numbers: Side 1, SHLV-758 A2 and Side 2, SHLV-758 B2. The album plays very quietly without crackle, pop or clicks. An outstanding example. The plain white inner sleeve is in EX+ condition.
The outer sleeve has not fared so well as the lady from whom I purchased this stated she had played it only a couple of times and then left it in a storage box for nearly 40 years. As a consequence there is rubbing wear to the laminate and corner bumps. There is a score on the back of the sleeve (see scan) and storage (rubbing wear to the top and bottom edge. However, there is no writing, tears or rips to the sleeve. Overall graded VG.
