Description
I don't need to say much about the brilliance of 'Pet Sounds' as an album. However, in this case, the mastering and presentation could also be considered a masterpiece. Kevin Gray really knocked it out of the park with this one. The soundstage is about the widest of any record in my audiophile collection, and the sound completely fills the room from wall to wall. It's the perfect way to present the lush harmonies and beautiful intricacies of this timeless masterpiece. As the years go on, and music slips further into the Dark Ages Reborn, this album will be regarded in the same light as classical music is now. It is safe to say this is the first Art Rock album.
This is the original 200-gram pressing from Analogue Productions from 2017, not the 180-gram reissues they re-released in the '20s. For comparison, it was played side-by-side with:

The vinyl has not been played, as I have several versions of this album (including another 200-gram 45RPM stereo), so it is graded as M. Given the information, I feel a M/M rating is accurate for this particular item.
The jacket was removed from the original packaging and placed into a resealable outer sleeve while wearing white gloves, so it has not been touched by consumer hands. It remained in the resealable sleeve for pictures. The original insert is included (also not removed for pictures), as are the hype stickers.
