Description
Surfin' U.S.A. is the second studio album by the American rock band the Beach Boys, released March 25, 1963 on Capitol Records. It reached number 2 in the US during a chart stay of 78 weeks.
This offering is for the stereo release. (I am including a mono copy of the LP which has no jacket.) It is unusual to be able to get both the stereo and mono versions of the album at the same time.
Stereo - First Release - Matrix / Runout (Variant 2: A Side): ST-1-1890-D3 IAM[Δ] U.S. version has "Full Dimensional Stereo" (FDS) insignia on reverse of jacket and lists manufacturing factories in Scranton, PA and Los Angeles, Calif.
Mono - First Release - Matrix / Runout Matrix / Runout (Variation 2 - Side A stamped): T 1 - 1 8 9 0 - T 6 #3 IAM[Δ] (Record Only - no Jacket)
