The Beach Boys Today! 2015 Mono Reissue 200g Vinyl Remastered EX/NM.
For auction is an excellent listeners copy of The Beach Boys Today!, by the Beach Boys.
Their eighth studio album released in March 1965. The album was different from their previous releases because the songs had a more orchestrated sound, more personal lyrics and had moved away from the surf/hot rod sound that had made them famous. It is now considered one of the first concept albums in music history. It peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the #1 hit, “Help Me, Rhonda”, the bands second ever and the top 20 hits, “When I Grow Up (To Be A Man)” (#9), “Dance, Dance, Dance” (#8) and “Do You Wanna Dance” (#12). Now considered one of the best records ever, in 2020, Rolling Stone ranked it #466 on its list of “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” This copy is a 2015 mono reissue that was pressed on 200 gram vinyl by Quality Record Pressings and released by Analogue Productions with the records original Capitol Records labels.
Vinyl is play graded EX. No visible surface marks but small spindle marks on both sides. Plays with no background noise, skips or jumps. Flawless but not sealed (Mint) and I was not original owner (NM) and do not known the extent of its play history. Sounds amazing! Please see pics.
Cover is in NM condition. In original clear bag with hype sticker. No signs of shelf wear. Looks perfect! Includes a two page insert. Please see pics.
