The Beach Boys
WILD HONEY
1967 First Pressing Vinyl LP
ST-2859
Capitol Records
Playable on stereo and mono phonographs
After the enigmatic ground-breaking PET SOUNDS and the far-out experimental SMILEY SMILE,The Beach Boys decided to go back to basics in the studio as a 6 piece band to produce their most soulful album ever.
Please no symphonic orchestral arrangements here, they went back to a real rock unit. Many critics agree this is their finest achievement, and this album influenced the Beatles and Stones to leave behind the pomp and circumstance and play guitars again, thank you Brian.
The album cover front in back is in excellent PLUS condition, beautiful and suitable for framing.
The vinyl record is in good condition- clean black vinyl and clean and fresh looking labels on both sides. Vinyl has light scratches on both sides- but album plays well and does not skip.
Not the original inner sleeve.
A well cared for album cover- been covered in plastic for 40 years.
Excellent PLUS condition album cover.
Good plus condition vinyl.
