TAKASHIMA AKIHIKO – THE BEAST MUST DIE - RARE JAPANESE DISCO FUNK OST LP!!!

 

Very hard to find Japanese thriller OST. Lots of nice dramatic cuts here – AND the added bonus of 3 superb disco-funk tracks! Think this is particularly in demand since Pete Rock flashed a copy in a crate diggin’ doc ? In any case, a real rarity and one which is difficult to dig up even in Japan. Slick, jazzy grooves on this – which sound far earlier than the LP’s release date! Some tasty breaks, echoed trumpet and suspenseful percussion lend this SUPERB sample potential! One of the hardest to find Japanese funky soundtracks - and for good reason.

Released on blue & white Columbia label, (AX-7286-AX) IN 1980.

GRADING:

RECORD is VG++, some light surface marks and wear to label – but plays EX, as you can hear.

COVER EX-, some light overall wear. Also comes with original OBI and 4 page colour insert – also in lovely condition!
