We have several Beatle albums up for auction this week. Be sure to see them all.
This one is for "The Beatles / 1962-1966" - AKA "The Red Album". This was made in England in red vinyl. I purchased it new, I believe in the late 1970s. These albums have never been played so as you would expect the records themselves are in great condition. I hesitate to say mint because I know how fussy collectors are, but I honestly don't think they've been fully out of their sleeves until now. The sleeves are also excellent but the cover has some nicks and scrapes from being next to my other albums. Also the glue on the cover has dried out and the top is coming apart. This can be seen in the photo of the cover's inside. The disks have some numbers etched near the label (see photo). I don't know what this means but other auctions seem to mention it so I guess it's important. I've tried to capture everything in the photos but if you need more information let me know.
