Apple PCSP 717 (OC 192 o 05307-8)
Laminated Gatefold Sleeve that still crackles when it's opened.
First pressing from April 20, 1973.
Apple labels have “Mfd. in U.K.”, “An Apple Record”, “An EMI Recording” and “The Gramophone Company Limited” credits.
The album has a front and back laminated gatefold sleeve manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.
This copy has no George Martin production credit on the inside.
This copy has the red die-cut inner sleeves with two corners cut.
Labels have red background, not black.
Matrix numbers:
Side One: YEX 905-1, Side Two: YEX 906-1, Side Three: YEX 907-3, Side Four: YEX 908-1
Vinyl is NEAR MINT It belonged to my Father and he had two copies - one to play and one to keep. I do not think it has ever been played.
Labels are NEAR MINT There's no spindle tracks or any other signs of play. Clean and bright.
Inners are NM and EX. The one for Side One and Two has a few very minor scuffs and a 1cm split to one of the die-cut corners.
Cover is EX+/NM
Fully laminated. Clean and bright. Still crackles when you open it. Spine is clean, legible with very light creasing to the laminate. No splits.
Comments: This is as good a copy as I have seen in 30 years of collecting and trading records.

I use Record Collectors Grading System
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

All my LPs play without skips or jumps. I test them prior to listing.
Any pops or loud crackles will be mentioned.
Some records are noisier than others - due to the original source, for example- and I will do my best to mention this.
All records WILL have very fine, light surface scratches from their inner sleeves. They do not affect play and are not considered faults.
I'm an honest bloke and have a decent reputation, and do my best to sort out any problems quickly and fairly.
