Description
This was the 1964 special Christmas message The Beatles sent out to their fans in the UK. The Beatles are hilarious on it. The Beatles were already in a session making "Honey Don't" and "What You're Doing" when they took a break to record it. They sing jingle bells, and "Oh, can you wash your father's hair, oh can you wash it clean?" as well as talk to the fans about the previous year's Beatle highlights. There is a lot of cutting up, but Beatles will be Beatles. The 1963 message was sent to the American fans in 1964 since The American chapter of the fan club only started in 1964. Therefore many in the US have not heard the 1964 message. The jacket includes liner notes from Beatles publicist Tony Barrow. Both the disc and jacket are in excellent condition without any marks, tears, scratches, etc. The record still maintains a nice shine. It has been stored in plastic and only played once in the last 20 years. The item is stored in both a separate paper sleeve and outer plastic sleeve to avoid any wear on the original jacket. These will be used when the item is shipped (along with lots of bubble wrap). Good luck!
