Frequently asked questions about postage:
Do you combine postage? Yes. I am not a business. I have decent scales and if someone buys more than one item I pack, weigh and then send the invoice. If someone buys quite a lot I will take the time to work out the various ways I can combine items to get the lowest postal costs with the correct insurance.
Will you send by standard postage? No. I will not post anything unless it has the correct insurance and a signature at point of delivery. This includes international postage.
The Beatles 1966 REVOLVER Stereo YEX 605-1 YEX 606-1 Garrod & Lofthouse
From my own collection and owned by me from new.
I have just had a look at discogs.com and found the following information:
A note on UK “first” pressings:
During a rare lapse of concentration, the very first UK issue was pressed with a rejected mix of “Tomorrow Never Knows”, known as “Remix 11”.
This pressing can be recognized by the runout stamp on side B:
XEX-606-1
Later pressings – with the approved mix – have the runout stamp “XEX 606-2” or higher.
Duration of tracks not on cover or labels.
The cover is in very good condition for its age. Some creases in the laminate on the front cover but none missing and no lifted patches. The back is a bit grubby around the edges where the laminate finishes. The spine has just one horizontal split and is easily legible and not squashed. There is the tiniest amount of shelf wear to the bottom edge.
The original poly lined inner sleeve is decidedly tatty. I can provide a new die cut white one if requested and pack the old one as well.
The vinyl is still very shiny and has some light sleeve scuffs on both sides. There is 3 small visible surface scratches on side one and 2 visible on side 2 which have a minimal effect on the sound quality. Please read my audio report below which is in red by each track title.
The labels are in excellent condition - no writing, missing bits or other nasties - just spindle marks which you can only see when you hold it against the light.
I have played it all the way through on both sides and there are no jumps, no sticking point, no pops or clicks.
