THE BEATLES: SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND – PCS 7027 – ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE PARLOPHONE VINYL LP.
Released in the UK 1st June 1967, on the BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE LABEL, WITH **Made in Great Britain label text. </>
Both record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, showing just a few light centre spindle lines to both labels.
The official side 1 matrix is YEX 637-1, & Side 2 matrix is YEX 638-1.
Side 1 stampers: 3 MH and Side 2: 4 OR.
There is an embossed KT Tax Code on the centre of the side 1 record label.
Side 1 of the vinyl disc is in nice Excellent condition, with just a few light surface hairlines.
Side 2 of the LP is in Very Good Plus condition with a few light surface hairlines, however there is a small scratch on this side that produces a tic for the last 30 seconds of the track, Within You Without You and runs into about 20 seconds of track 2, When I’m Sixty Four.
The sound quality is superb, the album play’s well from beginning to end with the exception of what has been described above.
The LP comes in its original **Made in Great Britain** flame inner bag, which is in Excellent condition, there is a small 1” seam split to the bottom edge, also included is an original Printed in England Sgt Pepper cut-out in Excellent undamaged condition.
And is housed in its original fully laminated gatefold picture sleeve with the usual two internal flipbacks inside the gatefold. The laminated gatefold picture sleeve is in Excellent condition, showing light record indentation and small bumps to the corners, there are no splits to any of the edges, the gatefold and reverse of the sleeve are undamaged.
A respectible example of this First Issue 1967 Beatles LP complete with flame inner bag and Sgt Pepper cut-out.
