The Beatles 1967-1970 Blue Album: Rare early IRISH pressing, 2 LP set BLACK APPLE LABEL NOT BLUE
SIDE ONE: YEX 909-9-1/SIDE TWO: YEX 910 - 6/SIDE THREE: YEX 911-7/SIDE FOUR: YEX 912-6-1
This rare Irish-pressed 2 LP set was pressed and issued by the long-defunct EMI Ireland plant using the black Apple record label, not the much more common blue Apple label as issued in the UK for this release. Both vinyl records, blue inner sleeves with printed lyrics and gatefold sleeve are intact. Inner groove shows "IRL" in the runout. Label font is different to all UK pressings.
In terms of grading the records have clearly been well-played with noticeable marks and mild surface noise, possible small jumps etc so rating here as between VG- to G. Usual spine wear, light wear and tear all round. Condition as per pictures. Worth having for the rarity value alone as Irish Beatles pressings become increasingly hard to find.
Records will be well-packed inside a stiff mailer.
