The Beatles 1968 White Album First Press Mono Top Opening (No 0223132)
Original first pressing from 1968 of the 9th UK studio album by the band. This copy is complete with all four portraits and a poster as well as both original black inner sleeves. The inner sleeves are included in the album but the discs are stored in poly-lined ones to protect the playing surfaces. The cuttings on this album are all original -1 cuttings as should be included in this set.
Matrix numbers are Side 1: XEX 709-1 Side 2: XEX 710-1 Side 3: XEX 711-1 Side 4: XEX 712-1
Stamper numbers Side 1: 6/GMM Side 2: 1/GP Side 3: 5/GGO Side 4: 4/AO
In regards to condition of the album and all of its components it is a strong VG+ all round. There is a small dent to the back cover (visible in the right hand side of picture 4) and the spine is creased although the text on the spine is still readable. The discs are in VG+ condition although they have got a few scrapes on them they play all the way through and have little surface noises but this is understandable for an album that is over 50 years old. The poster is in one piece but has got a stain on the lyric side which dose not through to the picture side.
