A RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE OF The Beatles FINAL FLEXI DISC & PICTURE SLEEVE.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS 1969 , was The Beatles SEVENTH and **FINAL** Christmas record and was distributed **FREE OF CHARGE** to all members of The Official UK Beatles Fan Club in December 1969.
The Original 7" Flexi Disc has a printed on surface Label with undamaged Print, together with the Fan Club logo and catalogue number LYN 1970, and LYN1971 The Flexi plays at 33 1/3rd rpm and is a double sided flexi disc, Recorded in the ABBEY ROAD Studios in St John’s Wood, London.
The flexi disc printed on disc surface label is in stunning Mint Minus condition, no fading to any of the printed text, a beautiful example.
The flexi disc is in stunning Mint Minus condition, NO scratches, NO kinks or creases, the flexi disc side one looks superb.
Side two of the flexi disc is in superb Excellent Plus condition, NO scratches, NO kinks or creases, just a couple of light surface hairlines, the flexi disc side two also looks superb.
The are two official stamped matrix numbers on either side of the disc and areLYN 1970-1Land LYN 1971-1L.
The flexi Disc is protected in its ORIGINAL card Picture Sleeve with two fold over flip backs to the top and bottom edges on the reverse, and is in Very Good Plus condition, the sleeve has no major damage, just light creasing to the top left corner, and handling signs to the reverse.
The two page typed letter on Croxley Script paper contains an apology for the late arrival of the final Beatles Flex Disc, this was due to a box of address labels going missing in the post. As well as this the letter contains other interesting information about The Beatles including comments on the new Beatles single Let it Be, and sales of over 3 Million copies in the USA of the Abbey Road album, interesting information.
A respectable example of this rare and the FINAL 1969 original Beatles Fan Club flexi disc, sleeve and two page letter.
