SECOND PRESSING, COMPLETE, AND A NICE CONDITION EXAMPLE.
Second pressing from 1965 released again one year after the original 1964 issue, UK Parlophone STEREO Vinyl LP for The Beatles album release, ‘A HARD DAY’S NIGHT’.
The Vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text, the original 1964 issue has the Parlophone Co Ltd label rim.
The record labels are in Excellent Plus condition, BRIGHT, CLEAN labels, showing just signs of a few plays to the centre spindle holes.
Side 1 matrix: YEX 126-1 and Side 2: YEX 127-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 OP and Side 2: 2 MR.
There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code to the centre of the side 1 record label.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in Excellent Plus condition, clean vinyl surfaces that show only light surface hairlines.
The album plays without fault, a superb Stereo sound quality throughout.
The LP comes in a lined Emitex Inner Bag which is in Very Good condition , NO handwriting, just creasing and sellotape on one edge.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL laminated Garrod and Lofthouse Patents Pending sleeve, printed small ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The front panel is stunning and in Excellent Plus condition, with it’s full glossy shine, and a couple of laminate pinches, and mild corner bumps, all edges are sharp and undamaged. The spine edge is undamaged, and the wording perfectly readable.
The reverse panel of the sleeve is clean and in Excellent condition, showing only light age toning and handling sign to the opening edgel, all three fold over flaps are undamaged.
This is a superb example of this rare second pressing Stereo Beatles Album.
