Description
PMC1230 a 1st pressing on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix -3N/-3N. Stampers 1G/1P. The record comes housed in its original Ernest J. Day cover as did many of the earliest pressings.
Cover (VG) Remains in very good condition. Nice and shiny front, but the rear is suffering some light ageing around the opening. The flipbacks are pretty much intact and the spine is 100% intact. Hardly any edgewear.
Vinyl (VG-) Plays through fine and is still an enjoyable listen, but has clearly been played a number of times. No nasty scratches, but there is some light crackle evident between tracks which is also audible during some of the quieter passages. So, not for the hifi enthusiast, but quite listenable none the less..... And about an early a pressing as you could possibly find....
