Description

An original 1969 No "Sold In The UK" stereo pressing of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1 - 1st cut. Please note that copies without the 'Sold In The UK' statement were only available for a period of a couple of months in Summer-1969. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Stereo G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is an original sepia toned Emi advertising inner sleeve from the time. So,100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. An impressive little player with very little to complain at. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Uptempo numbers play great and very assured. The low-key ones are lovely and clean - just what you want! Interference is very minor and infrequent. All I could make out were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Very nice indeed!
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. A nice clean front cover with a few creases over toward the opening. The rear has escaped the worst of the ageing process - just a small amount in places and a couple of tiny blotches. Edge wear is relatively light. The spine looks fine, but does have a stress crease rendering the 'h' of Night difficult to make out. Otherwise the cover retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Very little ageing at all. No splits.
