Description
The Beatles. A Hard Day's Night. Mega-rare original South African issue on Dark Navy Blue and Silver Parlophone label (PMCJ 1230).
The printing on the back cover states: 'Record manufactured by EMI South Africa (Pty) Ltd'. However, the rare Dark Navy Blue and Silver label suggests it could be a Southern Rhodesia pressing (not absolutely sure!). The covers of many Rhodesian issues were printed in South Africa.
Matrix numbers on the vinyl are: XEX 481 and XEX 482.
This album is hard to find! NOTE: Low starting price!
Vinyl is in VG condition. Lots of fine surface marks (nothing serious). Some 'crackles' here and there - no skips. The sound is excellent for a 50-year-old record! Cover is VG - Excellent (minor shelfwear!)
