WITH THE CORRECTLY ALIGNED APPLE LOGO ON THE REVERSE OF THE SLEEVE, AND **WITH** ‘HER MAJESTY' SONG CREDIT TO THE SIDE 2 RECORD LABEL, WITH DARK GREEN APPLE LABELS, BEAUTIFUL GLOSSY APPLE SLEEVE.
Item Description/Condition:
A superb collectible example of The Beatles FIRST ISSUE UK Apple Vinyl LP, 'Abbey Road', released by EMI/Apple records on 26th September 1969 on the Custom DARK GREEN APPLE RECORDS label, with 'Apple Records' label rim , 'Mfd in UK' label text and **WITH** the song title for Her Majesty’ to the side 2 record label. The ORIGINAL Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated sleeve features the correct aligned Apple logo to the reverse – aligned in from to the gate edge of the sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in Near Mint condition, an UNDAMAGED, BRIGHT and CLEAN Set of record labels, with a few signs of play to each record label.
Both sides of the heavyweight Vinyl Disc are in Near Mint condition, beautiful bright Vinyl surfaces, showing just a couple of faint surface hairlines.
The Official First stamped matrices are: Side 1 Matrix YEX 749-2 and Side 2 Matrix YEX 750-1.
Side 1 stampers: 5 OHD, and Side 2 stampers: 5 MPR.
The Vinyl Disc comes in it’s original Made in England record bag, which is in Excellent condition, with no seam splits, and just light creasing.
The album is housed in its ORIGINAL and FULLY LAMINATED, Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve featuring the ALIGNED Apple logo to the reverse of the sleeve.
The Glossy FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated Apple, Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in superb Near Mint condition, the front and back laminate are very glossy and the rich colours have remained bright, with only very, very mild record indentation visible, and a couple of light laminate pinches.
Play Quality:
The album plays well through all the tracks without any skips, a really strong and powerful Stereo sound quality, (Please Note) there is a light click at the last 4 seconds of the final track on side one, this is caused by a small mark on the disc.
This is a superb example of this Collectable, original 1969 UK Beatles Album with the correct aligned Apple Logo on the reverse of the sleeve, and the song title credit for the short song, Her Majesty at the very end of side 2.
