Item Description/Condition:
Another beautiful example of The Beatles UK Apple Vinyl LP, 'ABBEY ROAD', first released by EMI/Apple on 26th September 1969. I would say that this Issue with the first -2 -1 matrices, and the lighter Green Apple Label on side one, dates from around late 1969. 1970 issues have -2-3 matrix markings.
On the Custom LIGHTER SHADE OF GREEN APPLE labels, with 'Apple Records' label rim , 'Mfd in UK' label text and **WITH** ‘Her Majesty’ correctly credited to the side 2 record label. Housed in it’s ORIGINAL Issue, Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated glossy sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in as new Mint condition, the record labels are as new.
Side 1 Matrix YEX 749-2 and Side 2 YEX 750-1.
Side 1 stampers: 1T and Side 2: 2 GR.
Both sides of the vinyl Disc are in are also in Mint condition, bright glossy unmarked Vinyl surfaces.
Audio Quality:
The album plays as new.
The Vinyl Disc comes in an original White Made in Great Britain printed Apple inner bag which is in Excellent Plus condition, with only mild age toning and creasing, NO seam splits.
The album is housed in its original, fully laminated, Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve featuring the correct aligned Apple logo to the reverse of the sleeve.
The Glossy FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated Apple Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in superb undamaged Excellent Plus condition. This sleeve shows just mild record storage signs and a couple of small corner bumps, the lamination on the front reverse are glossy, the colours have remained rich and vivid.
A stunning condition example of this rare later 1969 Apple album, complete with it’s original fully laminated sleeve.
