Description
The Beatles Abbey Road - Very first press with misaligned apple on sleeve and no credit for Her Majesty on sleeve or label.
Matrix numbers YEX 749-2 and YEX 750-1
The sleeve is in very good (some may say excellent) condition. There is some minor scuffing, creasing and ringwear. The very thin spine (all first press spines are thin) is fully readable.
The record still has a lovely shine with hardly any marks at all. There are 3 that may look troublesome but I played it before listing and it sounds great. There's the odd touch of ultra light crackle here and there and the odd ultra soft tick but nothing to spoil the enjoyment - it may be that I only heard it because I was listening out for it.
The labels are nice and clean with very little spindle wear.
My copy is housed in a plain white emitex style inner.
UK only please - Will be sent signed for in record mailer with stiffener.
