Greetings,
** This week I am selling a selection of classic records from my personal collection. Please see my other listings for more titles, I am offering cheap combined shipping on multiple purchases, feel free to get in contact for any quotes :) UK shipping for 1-4 records is set at £4.50!! **
For sale here is this true 1st UK issue of The Beatles' legendary 'Abbey Road' LP from 1969. The copy has the misaligned apple logo on the rear, a slightly more zoomed in cover photo and 'her majesty' omitted from both the back cover and 2nd label!!
Matrixes are:
Side A: YEX 749-2 OG R 6
Side B: YEX 750-1 ATA 1 (?)
Condition:
Record: VG/VG+ The record is in great shape and is a hugely enjoyable listen across both sides with deep frequency response and dynamic range. There are light surface marks which give normal background noise/crackle across both sides. The reason I am listing this as between VG & VG+ is that there is a slightly deeper mark on 'Something' which gives more pronounced noise and crackle across this track. Secondly, there is a long mark from the record edge to the centre on side B (see last photo). I gave play tested this side from beginning to end and this mark has ZERO effect on playback whatsoever. It is very light and is more of an aesthetic defect. Worth mentioning nonetheless. There is also a very light click in the first minute of 'Here Comes The Sun'.
Sleeve: VG+ Great copy, no tears or damage, spine is tight, a little edge and corner wear. See photos for details.
