Description
You are bidding on a collector's item of Beatle memorabilia. A 12" vinyl picture disc of the album "Abbey Road". The most famous zebra crossing in the World? I reckon so.
Issued by Apple. Catalogue: 5CPO62-04243.
The track list is the same as on the original Abbey Road album.
The back cover states the following: "An E.M.I. recording. Thanks to George Martin, Geoff Emerick and Phillip McDonald"
"Photographs by Iain Macmillan".
"Limited Picture Edition. Sound quality may not be comparable to conventional edition. This album has been released previously under a different cover as 5CO62 04243"

This is from my own personal collection. I bought it as a collectors piece and as far as I recall I don't think I ever played it. I'm not sure which year these were issued. I have no means to play vinyl now. It’s timeto make some space so sadly I am selling my vinyl collection. Please check outmy other items for sale. I think it would be fair to say this album is more for the collector than for actually playing.
Condition: The record has been out of the cover, but still has the shrink wrap over all, bar a small part at the opening of the sleeve. The cover has one crease about 1 inch long on the right of the large open circle through which you view the album. It lays flat and doesn't show too badly. The cover has a yellow disc which says Limited Edition. This is NOT a sticker. This is printed on the cover. All cover edges, corners and spine are in VGC. The record is in a thin polythene (similar material to carrier bags from the supermarket) sleeve inside the cardboard cover. The record itself looks immaculate, with all it's original gloss. I can't see any scratching, but it is difficult to tell on a picture disc.
Describing the condition of items is very subjective.(one man’s treasure is another man’s junk etc). I will always try to be ashonest as possible in describing the items. I would rather be honest from theoutset, than end up with a disappointed winning bidder. I buy things on eBayand would expect the same honesty from others.
There is no reserve on this item. I have a low starting price and judging from other copies of this edition that are on eBay, you could be grabbing yourself a bargain.
