Description

One of the finest pressings of this classic Beatles album you will ever hear.  Released in the summer of 1978, this audiophile pressing from Japan (EALF-97001) on the Toshiba/EMI "Pro-Use Series" label is detailed, balanced, and the most transparent version I've heard.  It has a certain presence I don't hear on other pressings. Included is a 4-page lyric insert which is in Japanese and English.  The Obi is not included.  
Cover: Excellent-....some wear to the spine. 
Lyric Insert: Near Mint
Record: VG ~ Excellent.....visually the record's surface looks very nice and glossy with just a few almost imperceptible hairlines and marks; these do not have any bearing on the audio.  The VG portion of the grade is due to 3 or 4 songs that have a touch of surface noise.  Both labels look bright and close to perfect with only a couple of spindle marks.  A nice playing copy of a superb pressing at an reasonable price.
