Description
The Beatles.
Abbey Road, PCS 7088. Stereo.
Printed 1969.
Matrix Numbers: side 1 - YEX 749-2. Side 2 - YEX 750-1
This is a very first pressing because of the misaligned apple on the back of the cover and Her Majesty does not have a credit on the label of Side Two.
I have graded this album in accordance with The Beatles Collection website and everything else matches up to say it's a first pressing.
The only thing missing is the black inner sleeve. Instead it has been swapped with a plain white one.
Outer Sleeve: this sleeve is in very good condition without any major faults. There are only centimetre creases along the edges, edge and corner wear and a very small air bubble on the top right hand corner of the front cover. The sleeve is in great shape with a nice gloss finish. There is no writing, no tears and both sides are clean.
The Spine: no major faults, all text intact and still readable. There are a couple of creases but nothing to worry about.
The Labels: are in excellent condition with only a few light spindle marks. No writing or marks over the text.
The Disc: again, in excellent condition. Has retained its original sheen and is clean and crisp. There very small surface marks which do not make any significance when playing the record. On playing the record, it is cleans and crisp and plays really well. All in all both sides work very well without any jumping or skipping.
These details are to the best of my knowledge and the item has been thoroughly checked.
