Description

From my private collection: The Beatles - Abbey Road (US Audiophile LP MFSL 1-023).

Highly sought after 1979 Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs half-speed master from the Original Master Recording series, specially plated and pressed on high definition vinyl by Victor Company of Japan Ltd.  Record in original anti-static rice paper inner sleeve and MFSL stiffener.

Visual Goldmine grading: Record VG+ (slight evidence of handling), outer sleeve VG+ (slight shelf wear – see photos - otherwise NM).  Note that I will only grade as Mint if an item remains sealed.

Audiophile vinyl purchased used in the late-1980s.  This is an outstanding pressing sourced from “The Original Stereo Master Tape”, as included in the legendary Dr. Ebbetts series of needle-drop CD-Rs.  Has been stored in a protective sleeve since my purchase.  Will be posted within a sealed plastic bag in a Music Max record mailer (see photo).
