Description
I am clearing out some duplicates of some BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions.
IN THIS AUCTION:
· “HEY JUDE” by the Beatles
· This LP is Apple Records SW-385 per the Cover and SO-385 per the Labels.
· This LP, both COVER & VINYL are NEAR MINT & STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP.
· The Shrink Wrap does not have “breathe holes”. There is a tear in the front shrink wrap at lower right, a 1.5-inch x 1.5 inch pieces of shrink missing on the rear cover at the opening, and a 1.5 inch x 4.5 inch piece of shrink missing on the bottom of the rear cover. There is slight wear and a tiny corner push on the top corner at the opening and slight wear on the bottom right corner where the shrink wrap was torn.
· Information provided is based on Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records section about sealed LP’s.
· The cover is of cardboard construction, NOT poster-board. Poster-board covers were used after 1976.
· This is an ORIGINAL PRESSING of the LP determined by the following: 1) The Apple label has “Mfd. by Apple” rim print on the sliced-apple label. 2) The label identifies the LP as “The Beatles Again”. 3) The label lists the catalog number as SO-385 instead of SW-385. 4) The cover shows the correct title “Hey Jude” and the correct catalog number SW-385.
· The above information confirms that this LP was issued February 26, 1970.
· BEWARE: Some sellers may intentionally or accidentally switch vinyl and covers in order to create an LP with near mint cover and vinyl to sell. I don’t do that. This is the correct cover and vinyl for this pressing/issue.
· A nice ORIGINAL BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection.
