A scarce original 1966 Australian reissue of The Beatles – Ain’t She Sweet, released by International Polydor Production under catalogue number EPH-21967.
This collectible four-track 7-inch EP features recordings from The Beatles’ early Hamburg period:
- Ain’t She Sweet – lead vocal by John Lennon
- Cry for a Shadow – Lennon/Harrison instrumental
- My Bonnie – with Tony Sheridan
- Sweet Georgia Brown – with Tony Sheridan
This Australian issue is distinguished by its red-and-black International Polydor Production labels and original John Lennon picture sleeve. It is a sought-after early Beatles release and an important piece from the group’s pre-fame recording history.
The original sleeve is present but shows age-related wear and a previous owner’s name written on the rear.
The vinyl has visible surface marks consistent with its age and use. It has not been play-tested or professionally graded and is being sold in the exact condition pictured.
A desirable Australian Beatles collectible that is rarely found complete with its original picture sleeve.
Please view all photos carefully as they form an important part of the description.
