Up for auction here is a fantastic REPRINT of the Holy Grail of
North American Beatles picture sleeves ! The Canadian "All My
Loving" b/w "This Boy"... There is only ONE known example of
this sleeve known to exist. There is a Canadian Book on Beatles
Records from Canada and the author relates that this sleeve was
being prepared during the Import lawsuit filed by Capitol Records
in the US to halt Canadian imports. The sleeve was scrapped when
that happened, as only a few 45 records made it into the states. He
also claims that the one example was found in Philadelphia. He reprinted
this sleeve to accompany his book, which was a very Ltd. Ed. I am not sure
if this sleeve is from that book--or the reprint from the Anthology era--which
only a very small number were made. In any event--this is an AWESOME
pic sleeve to own. Just breath taking... The history behind it...the rarity, and what GREAT songs!
