Description

Released the same month The Beatles played the Ed Sullivan shows, this was VJ Records first stab at cashing in on the "Please Please Me" masters they had leased from Parlophone in late 1963. Jolly What! is not only a rarity but also an oddity. Whose idea was it to pair them with Frank Ifield of all people?

Sleeve is graded VG+: there's some minor ring wear but the seams and the spine are completely intact and the images and colors are still vibrant and appealing

LP is graded VG+: album has the "Vee Jay Rainbow" label which is still quite beautiful No skips, a couple of minor pops here and there (nothing distracting) and a low to mid level surface noise. Still eminently playable and still sounds great after 54 years. Mono.

Albums of this vintage and rarity are become more scarce as time goes on.

Ships in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard backing.
