THE BEATLES: ‘BEATLES FOR SALE’ – AN ORIGINAL 1964 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE MONO VINYL LP – PMC 1240.
This is an original 1964 UK 1st issue mono vinyl LP for The Beatles Fourth UK album release, ‘Beatles For Sale’, released in the UK on 4th December 1964, the Vinyl LP has the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Labels, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in beautiful Near Mint condition, superb clean and bright labels with only a couple of play signs around the centre.
Side 1 matrix: XEX 503-3N and Side 2: XEX 504-3N
Side 1 stampers: 4 OR and Side 2: 3 GT.
Both sides of the heavy vinyl disc are in beautiful Near Mint condition, the vinyl surfaces are super clean, all that is visible are a couple of light surface hairlines.
The LP plays with stunning sound quality from beginning to end, a really powerful sound quality from this first issue XEX 503 -3 & XEX 504 -3 LP release.
The LP comes in it’s Original Lined Use Emitex Printed Inner Bag which is in Excellent Plus condition, the record bag is undamaged.
And is housed in it’s original laminated gate-fold sleeve, this sleeve is a really superb Excellent Plus example, a very clean and undamaged glossy sleeve, all edges, corners and spine edge are undamaged, with just a couple of mild corner bumps and some light rub marks on the inside front top and bottom, probably caused by glue residue on the flip-backs, (see scans below)
