The Beatles - Beatles For Sale (1964)
Parlophone PMC 1240 Mono Vinyl LP in Gatefold Sleeve
Matrix Numbers:- Side 1 = XEX 503-4N / Side 2 = XEX 504-4N
Black & yellow Parlophone label with perimeter rim copyright text beginning, 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD...', and the text 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964' above the side indicator numeral, and the text 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO...' across the middle.
A very nice early pressing of The Beatles 4th studio album containing eight original compositions along with cover versions of songs by artists such as Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and Little Richard.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition. I’ve play tested both sides in their entirety and there are no issues worth mentioning, it plays really well throughout even though there are several very light marks. It’s a really good listen. There is a little wear to the spindle hole.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition for its age, with just light blemishes and creases. The worst damage being the damage to the left hand inner part of the sleeve to the top where part of the black is missing (see photograph number 6 for more detail).
Comes with it’s original poly-lined inner sleeve.
