Description
Not the greatest Beatles album in the opinion of many, but this first press mastering (142-1, 143-1) is widely regarded by audiophiles as the finest sounding cutting of any Beatles album. And this is as close to mint as you will find after 40+ years.
The record looks great, it is completely flat with a glossy sheen, it could perhaps benefit from a professional clean. There are a couple of very light spindle marks on the labels. It is a 2 EMI box from 1970 - 1973. Same heavyweight vinyl as the first pressing, same garrod and lofthouse laminated flip-back sleeve that's usually found in pretty dreadful condition, but here it's in excellent shape as can be seen from the detailed photos. It comes with its original plain white inner sleeve.
