Description
This is an original stereo 2 x vinyl album by The Beatles titled The Beatles or the White Album.
The gatefold, top opening sleeve has the embossed name The Beatles on it along with the
number 0022818. The top of the sleeve has a brown, possibly coffee stain on it, which is a shame
so I will grade it good. The 2 black inner sleeves are split but are originals, the poster has minor
signs of wear but the 4 photo cards are excellent! The vinyl on both these discs have seen better days,
I have played all 4 sides through and there are no jumps, occasional surface noise and they both vary
Sides 1 & 2 are fair to good + and sides 3 & 4 are good to good +
What makes this copy so unusual is I cannot for the life of me find out which country it's actually from.
Its certainly an original copy from 1968 but the Parlophone label without the EMI label on the top like
later re-pressed issues leads me to assume it may be Australian or South African, I have had it for years
and never been able to find out where it's from but maybe you know? please let me know!
Still, it is a nice unusual item and I have never seen another copy even in this condition.
