   For sale is the box set of The Beatles British versions of their albums. If you are looking at this you probably know what is in this and the track listings so I won't bother with that.This is from my peronal collection and was purchased by myself at the local Tower records store shortly after it was released. It has been played very little as it was purchased as just something to have in my collection and as a conversation piece. I am now selling it due to my recent retirement and am downsizing for eventual move. I will attempt to describe this set in detail so that you know what you are getting. I have gone through every album and taken pictures and examined the lp's and their jackets.Being an audiophile for many years I was into taking care of my equipment and records very well. I owned a Linn Sondek Turntable and I used record cleaning and perservative supplies. Specifically the "First"(cleaner) and "Last" (preservative) products. I also used a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and cleaned all of these albums before listing them here. The only problem is that stickers were applied to remind me of the products used on the lp's. These were applied only to side one because I always did both sides.Four of the albums have had these stickers removed and if looked at closely you can see the marks they left. I have provided pictures of the worst of the labels that have had stickers removed. The rest of the albums have the stickers still on and there are pictures of them as well. The vinyl itself is in great shape with no marks except on tracks 5 and 6 of Hard Days Night. I played these tracks and could not hear any noise resulting form these marks.The jackets all are in great condition except for varying degrees of wear at the tops. This runs about 1.5 " wide. I store my lps with the open end of the sleeve facing up towrads the top of the jacket to keep dust out.The lps must have been stored with their tops down in the box which would have caused this wear. I have taken about 82 photos of these so if you need more pictures I will be happy to send them to you.
