The Beatles Box Set  From Liverpool

This box set was issued in 1980 on the black and silver - PARLOPHONE / EMI WORLD RECORDS label with the record numbers SM 701 to SM 708.

Box set: R91103 - 10

All of these LP are UN-Played except the #1 album side one first song. Do not fret I often play-rate my albums before selling them. But this one is near mint. This song was visually inspected and Play-rated on a Technics SP-25 Quartz Direct Drive Turntable with a M3D cartridge with New Diamond Needle stylus #757-D7, through a Pioneer SX-1250 Stereo receiver and two Bookshelf JBL S26BE Studio speakers and two 200 watt Technics SB-2765 Speakers with excellent results. 

The box was not sealed when I got it and I inspected it and just shelved it for the last 31 years. How can that be you say. Well I have over 400 Beatle records with the very same songs, so why do I need to play this set.

Anyway I have decided to sell off a good sum of my 6000 plus vinyl collection, so keep a watch.

 I have some rare and not so rare vinyl. Rest assured that all my vinyl records are all well cared for.

I am not a record store just a collector who loves the sound of vinyl.

The box has almost no wear at all minor shelf wear.

The records, labels, jackets and poly sleeves are also in near mint condition.

There are no marks or writing on any of this item.

This set has no poster but has a white book-like sheet with all the song titles to the corresponding LP.

The pictures do not do this set justice; the records are just beautiful and sound great.

OH one more thing. If you noticed the label on LP #1 has MONO on it well all the LP’s are in stereo but a couple of songs are in mono on record one and record two and are marked with an asterisk in the pamphlet I mentioned.

I will ship this item in a well padded record box with delivery confirmation. Insurance will be added if necessary

PACKAGING RECORDS:

When posted; the records are removed from the covers and placed in a Poly outer protective sleeve to stop sleeve splits in the post. We use top quality mailer envelope style, with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit. We do sometimes recycle packaging, but only where they are of good enough quality to meet our own exacting standards.
