Description
This is a bundle of 4 Beatles albums, of varying condition, 2 with sleeves, one almost useless sleeve, and one without an outer sleeve, but which could well be a contract pressing.
All have been play tested, and even those with hairlines/marks/scratches etc play without skips or jumps, and with surprisingly little surface noise.
I shall be as accurate as possible in describing each record, but please note these are probably for the casual buyer/collector.
For the reasons given above, no returns available on this, and please take a close look at the photos as they form part of the description.
Please Please Me: PMC 1202. Matrix XEX 421-1N & 422-1N. Fourth Pressing (2nd yellow Parlophone Pressing). Ernest J.Day & Co front laminated cover, with large ‘Mono’.
Sleeve in Good(ish) condition, though with some taped repair, creasing and scuffing. With original Emitex inner.
Record has wispy hairline scratches, but still has nice sheen, and plays without skips or jumps, though has some surface noise, particular at start of either side.
Revolver: Possible CBS Pressing. PMC 7009. Matrix XEX 605-2 & 606-3. Second Pressing. KT Tax Code Side 2. Incorrect Dr. Robert spelling, with credits switching to “Song-Lead Singer-Composer.
No Sleeve, though an inner sleeve will be provided.
Record has quite a lot of wispy marks/hairlines etc, but has a decent sheen, and plays without skips or jumps, and very little surface noise.
Magical Mystery Tour: US Capitol release. MAL 2835. Matrix MAL V-1-2835-F9 & MAL V-2-2835-F9.
Sleeve is absolutely knackered. Not even usable to be honest, though it does still have the hyper sticker on front ‘Specially Imported EMI Records’.
Record has a lot of wispy marks/hairlines etc, some quite heavy surface noise during Penny Lane; some surface noise on either side intros, but plays without skips or jumps.
Abbey Road. Third Pressing. No Her Majesty sleeve credit, but is credited on label. Matrix YEX 749-2 & 750-1.
Sleeve is fully laminated G&L. Some creasing/wear. Spine very good.
Record. Very few hairlines, and very lightly played. No skips or jumps. No/very little surface noise.
