Item: Beatles MFSL Box set. 14 records + geo disc
Label: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab
LP Condition: The LP's mostly look (and were claimed to be) never played. They were purchased from a former employee of MFSL (she's retired now, but was a CPA and did their taxes for them and actually lived next door to the owner of the label). She received this box set as a gift but said that she never played it as she didn't own a record player.
Be that as it may - I found a couple very minor issues
Rubber Soul - Has a mark on the song "Wait," and at the very beginning of the next song. Sound clip included for "Wait." It causes a pop, nothing remotely close enough to cause a skip, but it is audible. Rubber Soul inner sleeve also has a pen mark on it.
Abbey Road has a very light surface mark, doesn't effect play
The Beatles Collection has a visible mark too, but it doesn't effect play either.
Funny how she said she never played any of them but some still have light marks right? Either way, they mostly look to be in pristine condition and I didn't notice anything else besides the issues listed.
Includes Geo Disc and pamphlet, no book.
Cover Condition: Box and sleeves are in nice shape!
