Please disregard the black spot on the photos....this is a lense issue with the iphone camera.
I have carefully gone through this set and play tested any records that appear to have been played which is just a couple.
‘White album record no. 2’ has a noticeable buckle on one side that doesn’t seem to affect play – though there are crackles and pops during quiet passages on this side during play for some reason. Slight crease on corner of cover and some slight discolouration on the cover and inserts(as is common for some reason for this album in the box set – see photos), otherwise looks new and includes posters.
‘With the Beatles’ has one strange mark on track 1 that doesn’t seem to affect play, and a mark on track 5 that creates just a couple of pops during the play of that track (both look like some sort of production fault)
Sgt Peppers – some light scuff marks on really evident under bright light…doesn’t seem to affect play much at all. Cover as new.
All other albums look unplayed and covers as new although you can see a slight tracing/impression of the record shape on just a few of the covers under bright light (usual for records stored in a box set for 40 years)
Box set cover is quite worn on the edges as pictured.
