The Beatles – "The Beatles Collection" 14xLP box set
This is a copy of The Beatles "Collection" set, released in 1978 with the blue box. It's the hard(er) to find numbered version - these are limited to 3,000 (some sources say 3,300) copies. This copy is #1212.
The 12 albums (total of 13 LPs, since the White Album is a double) are all still sealed, and the vinyl inside is presumed to be in mint (M) condition. The 14th LP ("Rarities") was never sealed, and comes in a single paper sleeve/no cardboard jacket. I did play test "Rarities" and although it does look nice, there is a bit of surface noise in the lead in on both sides A & B, and occasionally elsewhere in quiet passages and between songs. This album by itself would probably be graded as a very good+ (VG+).
The cover is generally in good shape, but does have a few issues. These sets were notorious for tearing along the horizontal hinge. This set has a nasty tear on the right side, and the left side also has one, but it's not nearly as noticeable. The box is showing some aging, and significant scraping on the bottom edge.
