Description
First German pressing of CRY FOR A SHADOW by The Beatles. Composed by George Harrison and John Lennon. It was a parody of the "Shadows" style instrumental. This was their second record release and recorded on the 22nd June 1961 in Hamburg. Its on the Deutsche Polydor label NH 52275 A and NH 52275 B. Vinyl graded Excellent see grading chart below. Plays loud and clear with nice quiet run in. The is in very good condition for its age placed in a plastic sleeve. Must be one of the rarest instrumentals.
GRADING CHART
NEAR MINT. virtually unplayed no visible sign of wear.
EXCELLENT. Minor surface wear that shouldn't have any real effect.
VERY GOOD PLUS. Some light surface marks through handling but nothing nasty and plays well.
VERY GOOD. Some surface wear might crackle certainly on quiet passages or the intro.
GOOD. Lot of visible surface wear but if the record is a loud song might still reproduce the record quite well.
FAIR. Very poor quality and appearance but might still play through without sticking or other defect
