Description

For sale as one lot, the complete 23 album edition of the Beatles Vinyl Collection issued by DeAgostini in 2016.
The set was available in individual album issues once a fortnight either at newsstands or via a mail order subscription. Of the subscriptions there were two available, a standard service that included various bonus items and an upgraded service that included those bonus items plus two flip top boxes in which to house the records. This lot is for the latter of these with the two boxes.

These are 180gm editions pressed especially for deAgostini, new cuts being made for each album using a Neumann VM580 lathe at Abbey Road. So, these are different cuts to those used for the Parlophone/Apple vinyl editions from 2012. Having said that, I am not aware of any sonic differences between the two cuts.
Each album is mint, unplayed and still sealed.
Each album came with an eight page libretto dedicated to the album concerned and written by Kevin Howlett. Each libretto is copiously illustrated with contemporary photos and are housed in a dedicated, hard case folder. There is also a massive, eight panel fold out poster one side of which details the subscription and reissue programme, the other side of which has a portfolio of the albums included in the collection.

All are branded ‘Beatles Vinyl Collection’ except the frame. All are unused except for the USB charger which I employed twice.
Basically, here you have in one place the entirety of the Beatles contemporary output in the latest cuts housed in two boxes with supporting history and bonus items.
