Description
Up for bids is my very own original Official Beatles Fan Club Flexi Record issued December 1965. This is The Beatles 3rd Christmas Record. I can vouch for the provenance of this record which is 7" and 33 1/3 r.p.m., and it was probably only played a half dozen times, if that, since I did not own a record player at that time and would have to take it to somebody else's house to have them play it, although I was a huge fan! I have recently had the record tested by a professional and it is still in working order.
There is everything included from the original set - the record, the jacket, the record sleeve newsletter and the original mailing envelope sent from East Grinstead to me at a cost of 6d in December of 1965! All of these items are in truly excellent condition with only the outer mailing envelope showing a bit of wear at the top side where it was opened. If you are looking at my other record you will see that my address had changed and the postage had gone up in the one year!
Also take a look out for my 1964 Fan Club Record. It is with heavy heart that I am listing these records as they meant so much to me back in the day - but it is now time for someone else to enjoy them and I hope that they will!
