Description

An original 1st press of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N - very 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side, and a few back-rash type super superficial marks - nothing remotely troublesome or that would feature in the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetween are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Really strong vibrant audio which renders these tracks in full glory - not all copies have this sort of delivery. Interference is both minimal and infrequent. All I could detect were a few minor crackles in a couple of isolated moments. By and large a storming rendition that you'd be hard pushed to equal. 
Cover (Ex/Ex+) These BFS are amongst the hardest covers to find in top class condition. This example has a lovely clean and uncreased front cover. I can assure you that few look this darn sweet. That front opening panel is still sturdy and has curled or contorted - as many do. The rear is just as fine - really superb condition. The interior looks very fine without surface wear and any signs of marking or writing. Please note the lower flipback over on the right panel has slipped marginally by a couple of millimetres in one spot. It's intact and is securely in place - It looks like this occurred at the time of printing. Edge wear is also very light for this title and that's the hardest thing to track down. The opening is still sharpish at the edge and the spine is 100% intact. A spine perfectly at right angles without end splitting or wear...is very very unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Quite a specimen!
