Description
Very seldom seen, particularly on the very 1st issue oval label variation circa Feb, 1964!! Nice shiny VG, with some scratching on vinyl. Plays really good and (mostly) clean with the exception of some audible scratches here and there. Sounds clear and fairly "hot" for the most part. Some ring wear and worn edges. Seams are mostly solid. Please contact me with any questions, thanks!

Overall, the Lp is better than VG with a lot of sheen and nice labels but yes, there area few feel able scratches and you can gear them at times, yet for 100 dollars more I bet someone wouldn't get one a whole lot better in terms of the overall fidelity, because it is just so tough to find one of these in any shape and most are trashed. The cover has no writing on it as per the photos - have a peek. The seems are fragile all over but its still intact as noted. The correct inner sleeve is split all around but it is the very rare original one. I think anyone getting it at this price will think they did really well. I played the entire album on my Denon with Ortofon Super OM 30. There are zero skips / repeats etc on my turntable, and it very revealing through my separates and vintage restored 901 II's. So think it over and if you want it I bet you'll be happy you didn't pay a hundred bucks more. Another important feature to know about old school VJ's is that many and I mean many were pressed off center, but this one wasn't. And Ifield doing I Remember You is just sweet. It is not NM. No, but it sounds pretty damned good, without that "I was played with a 78 needle" sound.
